Occupational Therapist Assistant directly providing therapy to the patients rather than just activities, works under the supervision of the occupational Therapist. If you are certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, salary may range from $52k – $76k. Occupational therapy assistants require an associate degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program. This occupation I would specifically choose out of the rest, main reason is less schooling and less responsibility, and the pay is pretty standard, however if I would hope it would go higher depending on how long you’ve works as an OTA.

OT’s may get their bachelor’s degree, but most positions are looking for Masters.

 

The techniques and exercises that the Speech pathologist performed on the patients were interesting. Makes it an interesting choice and somewhat interested me in speech pathology that and my aunt is a speech pathologist however, I never really understood what exactly she did until now. The school aspect is what would keep me away from this career.

Out of these careers none really interest me. I would become frustrated if I could not get through to a patient. I believe sign language would peak more of an interest to me.
